This contract is specifically for events hosted by ROOTED SOULS PHOTOGRAPHY in the HOUSTON, TX and surrounding areas.

Please read through these terms and conditions:

MODEL understands that the review and completion of this contract are needed to secure their spot as a model for the above event hosted by ROOTED SOULS PHOTOGRAPHY. In order to allow things to run smoothly, there will be communication leading up to day of via text or email. It takes time to find replacements and it will be MODEL's responsibility to communicate any change in availability to ROOTED SOULS PHOTOGRAPHY asap. This event is hosted for the purpose of fostering community and growing creatively. MODEL fee is discounted for MODEL's willingness to cooperate with before communicated event concept, ideas, styling, location, and posing. In the event MODEL is not interested in said concepts and ideas, ROOTED SOULS PHOTOGRAPHY reserves the right to find another suitable replacement for the event.

LOCATION Location information is sent out via email no later than 1 week prior to event date. ROOTED SOULS PHOTOGRAPHY is not responsible for any travel expenses acquired. It is MODEL's responsibility to make sure they know the exact location and arrive on time. ROOTED SOULS PHOTOGRAPHY is responsible for arranging the location access and any permits/passes related to doing so, unless otherwise discussed. There are occasionally additional location fees involved such as location access fees, parking, etc. This will all be communicated prior to event.

CONDUCT MODEL agrees to treat anyone and everyone in attendance with respect and kindness. As the host of these events, ROOTED SOULS PHOTOGRAPHY wants this to be a fun and judgment free zone for all involved. MODEL will be an open communicator during the event and be willing to work creatively with photographers, videographers and any other vendors in attendance. We are all here to collaborate.

AGE AND LIKENESS MODEL states that they are 18 years of age or older. If MODEL is not 18 years, they understand a parent or legal guardian is required to sign this contract as well. MODEL gives ROOTED SOULS PHOTOGRAPHY and any other vendor and/or attendee permission to have full and free use of all photographs and videos captured containing their image and likeness during this event. MODEL gives permission for images to be used on websites, blogs and for any marketing material, advertising, and educational purposes. This material may be used occasionally to continue to build community and provide teaching opportunities to other creatives.

IMAGE RELEASE AND SHARING MODELS at each event will receive at least 5 images from all photographers in attendance. Photographers will have 3 week turnaround time from event date to deliver these. Photographers have authorized the use of said images for personal and professional use to MODELS. This can include, but is not limited to, prints, marketing of products or services, etc. When sharing it is required that vendor information be shared as this is a network event for all vendors/models/attendees. List will be provided with event information.

HOLD HARMLESS MODEL understands that there is always a certain degree of risk when attending an event. ROOTED SOULS PHOTOGRAPHY is not responsible for any injury or loss of personal property that should happen to and from or at any of her events. MODEL agrees to be mindful and use good judgement when participating and agrees to release, hold harmless, and waive ROOTED SOULS PHOTOGRAPHY from any liability.

ADDENDUMS Any addendums made to this contract must be agreed upon, in writing, by all parties involved.
